Wicker Suite 'THE WAY THAT IT WAS' Tour: Mt Nimmel Hall
Wicker Suite – The Way That It Was TourBringing music back to the country halls of Australia Award-winning duo Wicker Suite are hitting the road with their heartfelt and down-to-earth tour: The Way That It Was. Inspired by the classic country hall tours of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean—and following in the footsteps of modern trailblazers like Fanny Lumsden and the Festival of Small Halls—Wicker Suite is heading into the heart of rural Australia, bringing their music, stories, and warmth to the halls that once formed the lifeblood of the community. Wicker Suite is one of the most exciting new acts in Australian country-roots. Together, New Zealand singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Liam Kennedy-Clark and Australian award-winning fiddle player Gabi Louise have quickly become known for their distinctive blend of country, bluegrass, and folk—earning two Golden Guitar Awards and charting in the Country Music ARIA Top 20 with their 2024 debut album, This Is Wicker Suite. But while the accolades speak volumes, it’s their live shows that leave lasting impressions: full of exceptional musicianship, captivating stories, quick wit, and deeply moving songs. From nostalgic folk and fiery bluegrass, The Way That It Was is a show that honours tradition while making room for the next generation of storytellers. Each performance on the tour will be held in a local country hall, featuring not only Wicker Suite’s music but also spotlighting local artists and community initiatives. The duo is looking forward to immersing themselves in the communities that have long been the beating heart of Australian music. Energetic, sincere, and charmingly funny, Wicker Suite invites audiences of all ages to join them on a night of music, connection, and nostalgia, just like it used to be. Mt Nimmel Hall Event Details:6:30pm doors, 7:30pm show. Ticket holders to be notified of support act and catering closer to event.

ZEPPLIN: The Music of Led Zeppelin Reimagined with Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra - Gold Coast
In an unprecedented fusion of rock and classical music, ZEPPLIN brings the music of Led Zeppelin to life in a way audiences have never experienced before — with the Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra joining the stage in this spellbinding concert event. This two-hour live spectacle is more than a tribute. ZEPPLIN is a fully immersive theatrical concert production that celebrates the legendary rise of Led Zeppelin through iconic songs, untold stories, rare video footage, and now — soaring orchestral arrangements that elevate the music to new heights. The result is a one-of-a-kind sonic journey, where the thunder of rock collides with the elegance and power of a live chamber orchestra. From the haunting strings in "Kashmir" to the sweeping grandeur of "Stairway to Heaven" every note is reimagined to capture the drama, complexity, and emotion that defined Zeppelin's catalogue. The addition of the Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra adds rich texture and cinematic scope, transforming classics into epic soundscapes that reverberate through the soul. Whether you're a lifelong Zeppelin fan or discovering their magic for the first time, ZEPPLIN with the Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra promises a concert experience that is as majestic, powerful, and unforgettable as the band that inspired it.
