HOTA Hawker Night Market
Get ready to treat all five senses at the HOTA Hawker Night Markets on the new date Saturday July 12 for a celebration of food, culture, and entertainment. The Gold Coast is set to come alive with colour, culture and cuisine as the HOTA Hawker Night Markets return for an open-air celebration inspired by the bustling hawker centres of Southeast Asia. With over 150 gourmet and artisan stalls, this is a street feast for your senses you don't want to miss – bursting with international flavours, handmade treasures, and that buzzing market energy we all love. Cauldron Distillery Gin Blending Class
Get your creative juices flowing during an informative and interactive Gin Blending Class at Tamborine Mountain’s very own Cauldron Distillery. Do you enjoy creating recipes in the kitchen? How good is your palate at detecting flavours? During this one hour experience, you will learn everything there is to know about gin and then you are set free to create your own gin masterpiece to take home. Set in their world-class distillery and guided by their distilling team, you will select from a multitude of individually distilled botanicals and skilfully blend them together to create a balanced gin that suits your palate and taste. How does a gin with orange, sage, and anise sound to you? Maybe you prefer rose petals, strawberry, and cocoa nibs? Perhaps your preference is lemon myrtle, macadamia nuts and honey? The choice will be yours because your gin blend can be as unique as you are! Kooralbyn Valley 4-hour MTB Endurance
Ride the course as part of a team or race solo, two-person team, mixed team, it’s up to you – and depends on how crazy you are! This year, they're also introducing a family team option at all events – because of families that MTB together, stay together! Please note: the race starts at 8 am with a seven-kilometre loop around Kooralbyn Valley. This is a mountain biking event.

Cooly Rocks On
Come celebrate the motors, music and lifestyle of yesteryear! Cooly Rocks On will be back at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast! Featuring one of Australia's best Show 'N' Shine displays, the festival showcases an impressive collection of hot rods, kustom vehicles, lowbrow art and more, with more than 900 vehicles lining the streets of Coolangatta. As for the music, some of the best rock 'n' roll, swing, rockabilly and tribute artists from around the world will take to the stage throughout the festival. Cooly Rocks On is also one of three festivals held in Australia to host an official preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, with the winner heading straight to Elvis Week in Memphis, USA. The annual Cooly Rocks On Pin-up Pageant is another festival favourite and for those in need of some retro goods and memorabilia, make sure to check out the Nostalgia Markets on the Coolangatta beachfront. Join us on level 5 where our expert chefs will guide you through the finer details of perfecting your dough, selection of toppings and flavour combinations. Guests will be able to create their own culinary masterpiece and enjoy out on the terrace with a cocktail. Bar Manager Tom Angel will also guide guests through the art of cocktail creation allowing guests to create their own to enjoy alongside their freshly cooked pizza.

Learn the art of making citrus liqueurs with expert distillers in this immersive experience at the award-winning Tamborine Mountain Distillery. Guests will explore the world of Limoncello, Limecello, and Orangecello, discovering how fresh citrus fruits are infused into these lively, zesty spirits. The adventure begins with a behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery, where participants will uncover the history and craftsmanship behind creating citrus liqueurs. After the tour, guests will indulge in a tasting of premium citrus liqueurs to spark their inspiration. Next, it’s time to get hands-on. Participants will peel and prepare their own fresh citrus base, using exclusive techniques to fast-track the infusion process and craft a unique, custom citrus liqueur. At the end of the class, each guest will take home a 375ml bottle of their personalised citrus cello—infused with the zest of their own creativity.
