Australian Open
The largest annual event on the Swimming Australia calendar, the Australian Open will attract thousands of athletes and spectators to one of the country's premier swimming venues. The meet will bring together some of Australia's most elite Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and serve as the lead up event for the Australian Trials, which will select the team to head to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. This event is proudly supported by Tourism and Events Queensland and Experience Gold Coast.

Pho3nix Kids Gold Coast Triathlon
The Pho3nix Kids Gold Coast Triathlon is a free, fun participation based non-competitive event. Bike / Run, Swim / Run and Fun Run options also available. Each child will receive a tshirt, swimming cap and finishers medal.

The Tale of St George. You surely cannot sacrifice a princess to the ferocious Dragon! George thought to himself and then went on a mission to protect her and the village from the Dragon. An event you can witness the story and choose to believe in Dragons. After the battle has taken place all will join in a feast not only to celebrate victory but to St George himself with live entertainment provided by Belswagger Morris Dancers Two-course Banquet dinner with platters of meat and vegetables and Trifle pudding. Dietary requirements in advance, vegans and vegetarians also catered for.

Get ready to celebrate a major milestone—Blues on Broadbeach is marking its 25th Anniversary in 2026, transforming the Gold Coast into a rhythm and blues mecca! For a quarter of a century, this iconic festival has delivered electrifying live music experiences and the 25th anniversary promises to be another truly unforgettable celebration. Blues on Broadbeach 2026 will showcase an incredible lineup of international and homegrown artists across four spectacular days of soul-stirring entertainment. Spanning parks, streets, and venues throughout Broadbeach, the 2025 lineup featured legendary performances by The Cruel Sea, DIESEL, Vika & Linda, Eric Gales, Eli Paperboy Reed, Salmonella Dub Soundsystem and many more. The Kurrawa Park Sunday Ticket, returning for its second year in 2025, saw Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes deliver a powerful one-off Soul Deep Show, celebrating his 10x platinum 1991 album Soul Deep. Cooly Classic Ocean Swim Festival
Swimmers have a rare opportunity to swim a course with some of Australia’s most revered surf breaks as your backdrop – Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta and Kirra. There are four distances, from 1km to 5km, but it’s always the 2.0km Cooly Classic from Snapper Rocks to Kirra Beach which attracts the masses. Your start line, Snapper Rocks, is one of the world’s most famous surf breaks. Then, your course is a straight line to Kirra Beach, passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta Beaches as you swim. Throughout the week, there’ll be a range of small group sessions and clinics with guest coaches. This is a chance to receive specialist coaching and also swim with local squads at some of the Gold Coast’s favourite open-water training locations.

Women Only Adventure Race QLD
The Women Only Adventure Race is far more than creating an unforgettable event experience shared among girlfriends; it’s about women making time for themselves, and putting first their health and fitness. The journey to the event is the most precious part for a lot of participants: regularly getting together as a team to train, learn new skills, and support one another to push their boundaries. Women Only Adventure Racing event strengthens bonds and relationships, bringing family, friends, and work colleagues together for a weekend of genuine fun. The Women Only Adventure Race is an event where teams of two women travel together in a team, they must navigate around a secret course by foot, mountain bike, and kayak. The stable sit-on double kayaks are provided for all teams and all levels of fitness and experience are welcome. Running/walking five kilometres. Cycling (mountain biking) 10 kilometres. Kayaking 2 kilometres. On race day, the participating teams will receive all maps and descriptions.
