Scenic Rim Ultra
Runners have the option of 10km, 25 km, 42 km, 65 km or 105 km distances. Starting at The Lilybrook Recreation Area, runners will traverse the Dugandan Range and cross four mountains centred by spectacular Wyaralong Dam. The loop course finishes back at the winery, the perfect party precinct to celebrate tackling this gruelling and scenic course. The course runs across long ridgelines, single track, dirt road and dense forest much of which has never been explored by trail runners. Both distances have challenging mountain climbs which provide panoramic views of Mt Tamborine and Brisbane City.

Wild Earth Coastal High Trail Run
The Wild Earth Coastal High is an epic trail running event located in the iconic and spectacularly picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland. Running on trails contained within the pristine Lamington and Springbrook National Parks, the Coastal High two events; of 50km or 28km, that cover the best trails that South-East Queensland has to offer. The Wild Earth Coastal High sees runners traverse spectacular trails through sub-tropical rainforest, open forest, and along cliff tops within Lamington National Park, before descending down into the Numinbah Valley and then climbing up to finish adjacent to the magnificent Purlingbrook Falls in Springbrook National Park. The Wild Earth Coastal High trail run is special. Two World Heritage listed National Parks; trail running in a location that has to be enjoyed to be believed.

Kooralbyn Bike Festival
This two day MTB event will include that includes a number of MTB disciplines for everyone - Gravity Enduro, Downhill, Dual Slalom, Slopestyle and Whip off competition. They look forward to seeing you there.

Groundwater Country Music Festival
Get ready for a city-meets-country experience like no other! Groundwater Country Music Festival will return to Broadbeach in 2025 to bring the best of country vibes back to the coast. Known for its action-packed performances, Groundwater CMF 2024 welcomed a sensational lineup, featuring fan-favourite artists from Australia and beyond. Country icon Kasey Chambers made her long-awaited return, while stars like Adam Brand, Tim Hicks, Shannon Noll, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Jim Lauderdale, Gord Bamford, and Jess Moskaluke lit up the stage for three unforgettable days of live entertainment. Remember, remember the fifth of November The gunpowder treason and plot I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot Join Fox and Hound for dinner and a reenactment of the foiled plan in which Guy Fawkes tried to kill the King of England. Be welcomed by Morris Dancers before dining, then witness the burning of Guy Fawkes . Come dressed in period dress, or as Guy Fawkes! Be warned, there will be loud explosions. Bookings essential.

Queensland State Cup Touch Football Carnival
The Queensland State Cup is the premier affiliate touch football competition in Queensland. The event is held in November on the Gold Coast and provides the platform for senior touch football players to compete to the named the champion affiliate in their age division. The event is open to affiliate teams across Queensland and Australia and allows international teams to also attend and experience the Gold Coast.

Sunday Farm Day’s are a great opportunity to escape the city for a genuine farm experience. These events occur on the last Sunday of every month in Harrisville, a small suburb in the beautiful Scenic Rim - and less than an hour from Brisbane! Sunday Farm Days give kids the chance to have some fun with the animals on a working farm. There is an animal nursery full of baby lambs and goats to feed and play with - and our favourite alpaca George! There is also have a designated chick & duckling holding area and some silkie chickens who love a cuddle! Then there is face painting and pony rides for some extra fun! In case you get hungry, coffee and a sausage sizzle is available, and an ice cream van - perfect for the warm weather. All regular poultry and produce is available as well.
