ASICS Gold Coast Marathon
Celebrate the 46th edition of the ASICS Gold Coast Marathon and run in paradise on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Gold Coast Whale & Ocean Festival 2026
The Gold Coast's Whale & Ocean Festival is a celebration of the precious ocean that is at the heart of the Gold Coast. It will be held at Justins Park, Burleigh Heads. Organised by Humpbacks and Highrises (HHR), a local NGO, the festival aims to increase awareness in the local community for our oceans and the magnificent whales that visit the Gold Coast every year.Since 2011 Humpbacks and High Rises have been running Queensland's largest marine mammal monitoring program dedicated to the protection and research of marine mammals. The Junior State Cup is the premier junior affiliate touch football competition in Queensland.The 2026 Queensland Touch Football Junior State Cup will be held at Redlands thanks to the support of Redland City Council.A three day action packed Touch Football competition that brings together more than 4000 participants from over 230 affiliate teams from across Queensland extending as far north as Cairns and as far south as South Tweed.

Rumble on the Beach
Pacific Action Sports, owner of the Rumble Skateboarding Pro Tour and Amateur Series, is excited to announce the addition of a Gold Coast event to its National Tour, the Rumble on the Beach for 2026!The Rumble on the Beach will be held from July 9-19 across 2 locations in the City, the Elanora Bowl and Pizzey Park. The event will feature the best skateboarders in Australia, with the Rumble forming an important partnership with Skate Australia to use rankings points from Rumble events for national team, and ultimately, Olympic, selection! The Rumble on the Beach has also been designated the Skate Australia National Championships. Sword Fight VIII
The premier Gold Coast HEMA tournament is back in action! Housed in the beautiful scenic rim of the Gold Coast Hinterland, we are taking historical fencing to the highlands. This two day event will showcase some of Australia's best fencers in Longsword, Sidesword, and Sabre. Also, many years ago we ran the first Australian women's HEMA competition, we are excited to return to this space with more details to follow.
