ENERGIES fosters a thriving artistic lineage. Esteemed alumni like Michael Candy, Abbey McCulloch, Rebecca Ross, and Michael Zavros are a testament to the exhibition’s success. Continuing this tradition of excellence, ENERGIES is a collaborative effort between Gold Coast Visual Arts educators, students and HOTA Gallery. Mark your calendars! Women In Music Month
Join in for a celebration of Women In Music throughout the month of October at Den Devine! During October they have partnered with the Be There Group to support prevention of domestic violence. Den Devine will be hosting 27 female-led live music gigs to celebrate and build awareness of women's contribution in live music kicking off with an all-female Women in Music Jam, hosted by local singer-songwriter and music teacher Bayley Pearl. Other featured events include Greer Sullivan's kick-off party for the 2025 Groundwater Country Music Festival, weekly Soul Sundays Professional Muso Jam hosted by Amanda King, and Dunlin Drive performing for the Raffle Prize night for the Be There Group. Throughout the month, Den Devine will be inviting the Be There Group to speak during events to help raise awareness of the importance of domestic violence prevention.

2025 Gold Coast World Masters Golf Championship

LCA NRL Wheelchair Championships

Sanctuary Cove’s Trick or Treat Trail
Sanctuary Cove’s Spooktacular Halloween Event – Free Family Fun! Families are invited to experience a frightfully fun Halloween at Sanctuary Cove’s Marine Village on Friday 31 October, from 4pm to 7pm. This year’s event promises an evening packed with spooky activities, interactive entertainment, and prizes for all ages. Little ghouls and goblins can embark on the popular Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail, a scavenger hunt featuring six themed challenges including cursed ring toss, bobbing for bones, graveyard golf, and spooky face painting. Children who complete all six activities and return their trail card will be rewarded with a bag of treats – no tricks involved! The festivities continue with the Halloween Dance Party hosted by DJ Chadd and his spooky crew.
