Sprint Series Adventure Race QLD
Short, fast and fun, and suitable for anyone and everyone with a real sense of adventure, the Sprint Series Adventure race is designed to offer the perfect introduction to the exciting sport of adventure racing.Teams of two navigate their way between checkpoints by foot, bike and kayak using only a map and a compass. The fastest team to find all checkpoints is the winner.At each event, there is a Classic distance and a Novice distance course available, depending on your ability and experience. These non-stop events will take two to six hours to complete, so there is never any time to get bored or tired, as you will be constantly challenged throughout the race, physically and mentally!Suppose you are new to adventure racing and are looking for an exciting challenge that lives up to your love of the outdoors and action-packed adventure. In that case, the Sprint Series events are a great way to experience what adventure racing is all about.

Sword Fight VIII
The premier Gold Coast HEMA tournament is back in action! Housed in the beautiful scenic rim of the Gold Coast Hinterland, we are taking historical fencing to the highlands. This two day event will showcase some of Australia's best fencers in Longsword, Sidesword, and Sabre. Also, many years ago we ran the first Australian women's HEMA competition, we are excited to return to this space with more details to follow. This will be a traditional pool/elimination event Interstate travellers will be assisted with billeting and travel to and from the venue. Take on the challenge and discover The Gold Coast like never before!Run, kayak, mountain bike and navigate your way over an unmarked 15km or 30km off-road course with up to 6 hours to collect all the checkpoints and reach the finish line.This team-based event is possibly the funnest day out on the trails you can have. In pairs, you'll work together using a map and compass to navigate a 15km or 30km linear course, collecting checkpoints along the way and getting to the finish before the 6hr cut-off.
