Danny Widdicombe and the Wand’rin’ Stars - ‘One Note at a Time’ Album Launch
Danny Widdicombe and the Wand’rin’ Stars - ‘One Note at a Time’ Album LaunchSee the multiple award-winning songwriter Danny Widdicombe return to his folk and country roots as he launches his new album One Note at a Time with his hootenanny band of old-time country virtuosos, The Wand’rin’ Stars. One Note at a Time has already been chosen as ABC Country Album of the Week, with one media review comparing Widdicombe to the great Willie Nelson - ‘languid but precise, vulnerable but holding control, an echo of some 1930s movie soundtrack’ (Bernard Zuel). The Wand’rin’ Stars feature some of Australia’s finest musicians - Michel Rose on pedal steel (Slim Dusty, Troy Cassar-Daley, Sara Storer and more), Luke ‘Fiddleboy’ Moller on fiddle (Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Kasey Chambers, and more), Brendan St Ledger on piano (Rene Geyer, Wendy Matthews and more), Bos Borley on bass (Honey Sliders, Resin Dogs), Doug Gallacher (Slim Dusty and many more), Tony McCall on percussion (Wolfmother, Honey Sliders), and Dana Gehrman on backing vocals and harmonica. One Note at a Time is the follow up to their single Blue Eyes Cryin’ in the Rain, which pays homage to the great Willie Nelson (out now through Futurfonic). Recorded live in the studio at Alchemix in South Brisbane, the music captures a rare sense of spontaneity and musical connection — band members played the songs live in a circle, responding in real time. That same energy comes alive on stage, offering audiences a chance to experience this exciting new band as they share their songs and stories.

ROCKIN REVIVAL FESTIVAL AFTERPARTY - Lance Lipinsky (USA) - Down Under Tour
If you've seen Lance Lipinsky before, you already know. If you haven't, you're about to find out. After years of appearances at festivals and special events, one of the world's most exciting rock 'n' roll performers is finally returning to Australia for his first dedicated national tour. Known for his explosive piano playing, larger-than-life stage presence and unmistakable love of authentic rock 'n' roll, Lance has built a reputation as a performer that leaves audiences talking long after the show is over. This isn't a tribute. This isn't nostalgia. This is the real thing. Presented by Rockabilly Australia and backed by Jake and the Cadillacs, the Lance Lipinsky Down Under Tour brings one of the finest ambassadors of classic American rock 'n' roll to stages across the country for a limited run of shows. For fans of rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, boogie woogie, swing and vintage culture, this is one of those tours that simply had to happen. And now it finally is. DATE & TIMES: Saturday 19th September 2026 - Doors Open / DJ from 6:30pm | Bands from 7:30pm VENUE: ROCKIN' REVIVAL FESTIVAL Gold Coast Tavern | Upstairs - (150 bundall Rd, Bundall, QLD) SUPPORTED BY: Jake & The Cadillacs & DJ Rhythm Man Mark ABOUT LANCE LIPINSKY: Influenced by the birth of Rock & Roll era of the 1950's and early 60's, Wimberley, Texas native Lance Lipinsky dedicates his career to preserving the lost art genre of mid century roots music as a pianist, songwriter, and show stopping live entertainer. Accompanied by his Chicago based group The Lovers, career highlights include appearing on the David Letterman Show and the Grand Ole Opry Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. After headlining over 1500 performances in a record breaking five year residency at the Apollo Theatre in the TONY award winning Broadway musical "Million Dollar Quartet," Lance's debut album "Roll" was recorded in Memphis' Sun Studios using all original, vintage analog equipment. With no formal training, Lance’s natural ear and passion for live performance found him working early on in his hometown backyard of south central Texas’ hill country venues as young as 13 years old. His father’s vinyl records and classic car collection inspired Lance to pursue his nostalgic obsession as a lifestyle and career. By a mere age 17, eight demanding shows a week on the Las Vegas strip would replace his junior and senior year of high school making him one of the youngest acts ever featured in the Vegas staple “Legends In Concert.” Endorsed by such artists like boogie woogie piano pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis, Lance had the opportunity to meet and accept the blessings of some of his heroes such as Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Little Richard, Connie Francis and more. Touring internationally with the prolific Reverend Horton Heat band, Lance is signed onto lead singer Jim Heath’s indie label “Fun Guy Records.” Austin’s Ameripolitan Awards voted Lance as best “Rockabilly Artist” and south central Texans can listen and watch Lance live locally in his once a month concert residency at the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX. ONEFOUR - BACK OUTSIDE TOUR
Australia's most exciting drill rap groups, ONEFOUR, announces their Back Outside Tour. They’ll be heading across regional Australia for the very first time, giving fans in these areas the chance to experience their debut album live alongside the drill anthems that shifted the sound of Australian hip hop and put Western Sydney on the map. Presented by triple j, the tour will kick off in Newcastle on Friday 11th September at Bar on The Hill, before visiting 12 regional stops across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, winding up at Gilligans in Cairns on Saturday 17 October. Tickets will be available for presale from 9am AEST on Wednesday 22 July, before general on-sale commences at 9am AEST on Friday 24 July. The news arrives off the back of ONEFOUR’s 2025 debut record Look At Me Now, an unflinching statement of pride in where they're from, a voice for the marginalized and a raw look at the hand they were dealt. The album saw the group entering a mix of pop with their classic drill sound with pop, brought to life with world-class collaborations from Headie One, The Kid Laroi and Mabel to name a few. More recently, the group took that energy to the global stage, performing alongside 50 Cent for the Malaysian Cup football final. Now, they're heading further than ever before, straight into the heart of regional Australia. Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, ONEFOUR have never played it safe. The group staunchly announced themselves in early 2019 with a combo of singles, "Spot The Difference" and "The Message," which spread like wildfire, sparking a wave of reaction videos across the US and UK. The heat was undeniable, landing the group a link-up with A$AP Mob’s own A$AP Ferg on "Say It Again". Just months later, they joined forces with some of the UK's finest, AJ Tracey, Headie One and Stormzy on the remix of "Ain't It Different" before capping off the year with a hometown link-up with The Kid Laroi for "My City". That track landed on ONEFOUR's 2020 debut EP, Against All Odds, earning a 4-star review from NME and love from GQ, triple j and beyond. Fast forward to 2023, and their story hit the big screen with a Netflix documentary sharing the EP's name. Directed by Sydney filmmaker Gabriel Gasparinatos and premiered at SXSW Sydney, the film pulls no punches, laying bare how deeply the Western Sydney rap group's career has been entangled with the NSW Police. Since then, ONEFOUR have gone from strength to strength - sharing arena stages with Central Cee, supporting DAVE and selling out their first national tour with 10+ shows. Few artists have stayed in people's mouths and on people's stereos quite like ONEFOUR, and this September, members Celly, J Emz, Lekks and Spenny are finally giving regional fans what they've been waiting for.
