Spirit Making Class
Craft your signature spirit! In their Spirit Making Class, you will have the opportunity to craft your personalised unaged bottle of Rum, Gin, Brandy, Vodka, or Schnapps. With an extensive selection of botanicals and ingredients sourced from their apothecary, you’ll have all the tools you need to design a spirit that suits your taste perfectly. Cooly Classic Ocean Swim Festival
Swimmers have a rare opportunity to swim a course with some of Australia’s most revered surf breaks as your backdrop – Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta and Kirra. There are four distances, from 1km to 5km, but it’s always the 2.0km Cooly Classic from Snapper Rocks to Kirra Beach which attracts the masses. Your start line, Snapper Rocks, is one of the world’s most famous surf breaks. Then, your course is a straight line to Kirra Beach, passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta Beaches as you swim. Throughout the week, there’ll be a range of small group sessions and clinics with guest coaches. This is a chance to receive specialist coaching and also swim with local squads at some of the Gold Coast’s favourite open-water training locations.

From April 16 to 20, Broadbeach will transform into a LEGO® lover's paradise as Broadbeach Bricks returns for its third annual celebration! This year's space-themed event invites visitors of all ages to explore a world of rockets, aliens, space stations, and far-off planets. Moogerah Passion Play 2025
The Moogerah Passion Play is produced by the Moogerah Passion Play Association Inc. a non-denominational association established in 1993. The play has the primary aim of telling the story of Jesus. Up to 100 people are involved as cast and crew to bring the story of Jesus Christ to life and around 3 000 people attend the performances each year. By using drama, many who come and see the play will understand the central truth of the good news (that’s what Gospel means) that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God who came so all who believe in him can have eternal life. They present the play close to Easter as that is when Christians around the world remember the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Their one aim is to present the story as faithfully as we can without regard to doctrine. Their hope is that by coming to see the play, you will look at the story of Jesus with new eyes.

Get your creative juices flowing during an informative and interactive Gin Blending Class at Tamborine Mountain’s very own Cauldron Distillery. Do you enjoy creating recipes in the kitchen? How good is your palate at detecting flavours? During this one hour experience, you will learn everything there is to know about gin and then you are set free to create your own gin masterpiece to take home. Set in their world-class distillery and guided by their distilling team, you will select from a multitude of individually distilled botanicals and skilfully blend them together to create a balanced gin that suits your palate and taste. How does a gin with orange, sage, and anise sound to you? Maybe you prefer rose petals, strawberry, and cocoa nibs? Perhaps your preference is lemon myrtle, macadamia nuts and honey? The choice will be yours because your gin blend can be as unique as you are!
