Getting Around
The close proximity of Gold Coast hotels, in many cases, eliminates the need for ground transport as your delegates can walk to venues and activities. If you do require transport a number of options are available including buses, trains, taxis, shuttles and the Gold Coast Light Rail.
Buses
The Gold Coast has a comprehensive 24 hour public bus service operated by Translink. Translink operates between Coomera in Queensland to Pottsville in northern New South Wales.
Buses
Trains
The Gold Coast train line runs down the city's western side. Each of the six main stations are less than 20 minutes to the heart of the city. The line is linked up to the much larger Queensland Rail network and is part of the South East rail line.

Light Rail
The Gold Coast light rail connects the Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith University to the fast growing commercial, retail and recreational centres of Southport, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Trams run every 7.5 minutes from 7am to 7pm on weekdays between the 19 stations.
